Wife Lin, parents Roy & Marion, no siblings, no children,
Was killed tragically in a freak road accident near Dover castle. Had to be cut from vehicle,died
on the way to hospital. No other apparent vehicles involved. Police investigation still on-going.
Inquest expected within the year!
Mike was killed just a few days before his 48th birthday. He was a keen amatuer photographer and
was a memeber of the Gateway Camera Club in Dover. He loved tigers and has visited the Wildlife
Heritage Foundation near Ashford in Kent. He has taken many photographs of his favourite subject
there. He was passionate about his 'hobby' and I used to joke with him that he spent more
time on this than he did with me.
It has only been five weeks since Mike was taken from me and I am still very 'raw'. I
miss him so very much and just wish that he could come back and hold me in his arms again. The only
person who could possibly console me now is him and he is not here.
I am really proud of Mike's achievements in life and feel very honoured and privileged that he
chose me to be his wife.
The pain I feel inside is like no other. I cry constantly and feel totally lost without him.
I have lots more to say about Mike but feel I cannot write anymore at this time. I will try and add
more as and when I feel able to.
I send all my hearfelt good wishes to all who may be reading this who are also grieving for a loved
one.

♡ The Hearts Library..... ♡

Imagine if I was given one moment,
just a single slice of my past.
I could hold it close forever,
and that moment would always last.
Id put the moment in a safe,
within my hearts abode.
I could open it when I wanted,
and only I would know the code.
I could choose a time of laughing,
a time of happiness and fun.
I could choose a time that tried me,
through everything I've done.
I sat and thought about what moment,
would always make me smile.
One that would always push me,
to walk that extra mile.
If I'm feeling sad and low,
if I'm struggling with what to do.
I can go and open my little safe,
and watch my moment through.
There are moments I can think of,
that would lift my spirits everytime.
The moments when you picked me up,
when the road was hard to climb.
For me to only pick one moment,
to cherish, save and keep,
Is proving really difficult,
as I've gathered up a heap!
I've dug deep inside my heart,
found the safe and looked inside,
there was room for lots of moments,
in fact hundreds if I tried.
Am building my own little library,
embedded in my heart,
for all the moments spent with you,
before you had to part.
I can open it up whenever I like,
pick a moment and watch it through,
My little library acts as a promise,
I'll never ever forget you

you dont have to light candles for my dad but it is most appreciated i just like to light candles for michael as he was so young which i think my dad was too young to leave us.Its nice to see some lovely pics of you both i will keep in touch love to you both love from tracey xxx

Hello Michael, I am sorry I have not lit a candle for you as often as I'd like. I have been kept busy sorting out your 'estate'. I paid the mortgage off yesterday. That's one less thing I need wory about. I feel your spririt within me everyday and everyday I ask you to help me with a problem and everday you come to my rescue. You were my knight in shining armour, you are still and you always will be. No one will ever take your place sweetheart. I'll be on my own for the duration now. The memories I keep in my heart will keep me going. As long as you are by my side spiritually you will live on within my heart forever, until we meet again darling. I love you. Linny xxx
P.S. Your mum and dad paid you a visit at the crem yesterday and your mum laid some chrysanthemums on your plot. I have paid for a plot of four so that we can all be together one day. The headstone will come in a few months time. I will try and get over as often as I can but as you know I will have to rely on friends to give me a lift over there.
P.P.S The dondations to the Wildlife Heritage Foundation has reached a £1000 so far. I will be arranging a meeting with Mark to discuss what sort of permanent memorial we can arrange. Hopfully, some sort of seat/shelter near the tiger enclosure. I hope you will approve. Goodnight Honey. I look forward to seeing you in my deams. L xxxxxxx
